Tucked away off the beaten track in Tideswell is a hidden gem of a pub, The Star. A traditional family-run pub with a great local atmosphere is a 10 minute walk from the cottage.  The Star serves a quality menu of homemade food and is dog friendly.

The Red Lion first became a pub in 1787 when it was converted from three miner’s cottages. Thick exposed stone walls & wood paneling in a number of small, cozy rooms with blazing fires, create a comfortable & inviting atmosphere with food served daily. Dog friendly.

High Nelly’s is a friendly & relaxed Cafe serving Brunch, Lunch , Coffee & Cake using locally sourced quality ingredients.

The George Inn is a 10 minute walk from the cottage in the centre of the village. A traditional village pub and former 1780’s coaching Inn. Great food, dog friendly with free parking. Booking is recommended.

With food served until 8pm every day, a beer garden, open fires, real ales and dog friendly the Anchor Inn is a 25 minute stroll from the cottage. Located on the A623 with free car parking available.

The Merchant's Yard provides fresh locally sourced cuisine and a high class dining experience, all in a beautifully decorated restaurant, bar and courtyard. A 10 minute walk from the cottage with booking recommended.

Located in Miller's Dale next to the River Wye and the Monsal Trial The Anglers Rest is an approx. 30 mins walk from the cottage.  Great homemade food is highly recommended with muddy boots and dogs welcome.
